ABOUT ME

I seek opportunities to be part of creative, collaborative ideas and new perspectives for landscape architecture and urban design projects of all types and scale. My professional academic degree is Landscape Architecture. I have worked throughout the U.S. in large international architecture and planning firms, residential design/build companies and landscape management corporations. During my experience, I have completed a range of design projects such as Urban Design Proposals, Redevelopment Mater Plans, Campus Planning, Residential Community Developments, High-End Residential Landscape Construction as well as Sports Facility and Community Park Design. Additionally, I have managed commercial and large residential property accounts primarily in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area involving complete landscape renovations, new construction management, contract and budget negotiation as well as in-field crew supervision. The portfolio examples in the galleries represent of over ten years professional work as lead designer or primary project designer/manager in collaboration with other colleagues.

My goal is to produce creative design solutions for projects in the landscape industry that solve practical requirements and surpass client expectations. Effective, clear communication between clients, colleagues and industry professionals is essential for successful projects.

Throughout my experience, I have always utilized the benefits of design software such as AutoCAD, InDesign, PhotoShop snd SketchUp as well as incorporation of hand sketch illustration. I always look for new ways to communicate a creative vision either digitally, by hand or a combination of both. By applying experienced, practical design principles to a project, artistic expression and imaginative ideas compliment function. In every design opportunity, I always look to discover and learn from different individual perspectives in the design and construction indusrty that effectively create a balance between artistic craft and practicality.

I greatly value hand sketch ability...as an effective tool to communicate design ideas, quickly produce schematic drawings and illustrate complex ideas during client meetings or in-house design brainstorming.

From my experience, I have gained a strong dedication to...be mindful of cultural and social perspectives that can determine design direction.

For me, it is very important to remember how certain landscape architecture projects can...influence the daily experience of another person, an entire community or the environment we strive to improve.
